JAMB has suspended the use of the National Identification Number as requirement for registration in the 2020 UTME and DE.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Isha-q Oloyede, announced this on Saturday and attributed the decision to what he called technical reasons.
Prof. Isha-q Oloyede also cited difficulties faced by candidates in the NIN registration centers.
Prof. Isha-q Oloyede said the NIN would, however, be a necessary requirement in the 2021 UTME and Direct Entry registrations.
Also note; the registration for UTME 2020 will commence on Monday, 13th of January and will last for five weeks.
